Yoga is the science of right living, which should be incorporated as a life style. Yoga works on various aspects of human personalities such as physical, mental, and emotional. This has been envisioned by Dr. Sunanda Rathi and associates for benefit of society. She is operating the Yoga Initiative Center which is one of the best Yoga training institutes in the city. There are sub-centers which are available in different locations for services such as yoga education, training, research, practice and to learn yoga. We are affiliated with Svyasa Banglore & VYASA Bangalore. Delivering nothing less than the best, we also aim to conduct exclusive yoga therapy workshops, corporate seminars, wellness retreats and personality development camps. In the longer run, we plan to expand yoga research in conducting scientific studies on various modules of yoga proving its therapeutic, meditative and spiritual aspects. Yoga is not just about posture but it is a journey towards inner engineering and transformation. We would like many to embark on to this journey. With growing popularity of yoga and not mere as a form of fitness but as a career avenue and therapy model, our mission is to take this ancient spiritual wisdom to people in every possible way.

Shivajayanti Shriman Yogi Shivaji Shahaji Bhosle ( 19 Feb . 1627/1630 – 3 April 1680 ) was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, he was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati (monarch) of his realm at Raigad. Shivaji's legacy was to vary by observer and time but he began to take on increased importance with the emergence of the Indian independence movement, as many elevated him as a proto-nationalist and hero of the Hindus. Particularly in Maharashtra, debates over his history and role have engendered great passion and sometimes even violence as disparate groups have sought to characterize him and his legacy. Shivaji was devoted to his mother Jijabai, who was deeply religious. His studies of the Hindu epics, Vedas & Upanishadas. From childhood , he was taught Titiksha ( inner stamina ), will power by his mother through various Rajayoga practices. He was devotee of Samarth Ramdas Swami & Mother Tulja Bhavani. It is said that Mother Tulja Bhavani blessed Shivaji with her sword to fight against Monghal. This can happen only through extreme Bhaktiyoga towards one’s deity leading in Saguna Sakshtakara. But truly Shivaji was a real Karmayogi who dedicated his complete life for his Swarajya & his people. He extremely lived all the principles of Karmayoga without which formation of Swarajya was indeed not possible. So on this Shivajayanti , let us take wow to walk on the path of Yoga with blessings of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja to work for empowerment of the Swarajya.

Valentine's Day Valentine's Day is also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14., Originating as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus, Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world . The most significant cultural and spiritual love is of Radha & Krishna. Physically they lived separately. But still remembered together because their minds , their soul was one. The Radha Krishna love story is eternal and sublime. It is symbolic of the divine union between the Jivatma and Paramatma – the individual self and the universal self. RadhaKrishn are collectively known within Hinduism as the combined forms of feminine as well as the masculine realities of God. Radha and Krishna are the primeval forms of God and His pleasure potency respectively in the Vaishnava school of thought in Vedic culture. Krishna is referred to as svayam bhagavan in Vaishnavism theology and Radha is illustrated as the primeval potency of the three main potencies of God, Hladini (immense spiritual bliss), Sandhini (eternality) and Samvit (existential consciousness) of which Radha is an embodiment of the feeling of love towards the almighty God Shree Krishna (Hladini). With Krishna, Radha is acknowledged as the Supreme Goddess, for it is said that Krishna or God is only satiated by devotional service in loving servitude and Radha is the personification of devotional service to the supreme. She is also considered in Vaishnavism as the total feminine energy and also as the Supreme Lakshmi (Adi-Lakshmi). Various devotees worship her with the understanding of her merciful nature as the only way to attain Krishna. Let us pray for such eternal , spiritual & divine love in our lives on this VALENTINE DAY !
