#SURYANAMASKAR is a Salutation to SUN, that is a practice of expressing #gratitude
to the source of life on this planate, that is to #SUN. This is highly useful practice which
increases ones abilities, decision making, confidence, creativity and much more. It comes between loosing #exercise and #yogasana. It brings the general #flexibility of the body which helps for preparing for #asanas and #pranayama. The 10 or 12 steps of Suryanamaskar can
be done usually at sunrise or sunset, facing the Sun and chanting the Sun salute MANTRA.
Hiranmyena patrena satyasyapihitam mukham |
Tat tvam pusannapavrnu satyadharaya drstaya ||
The start of Suryanamaskar is done by utterance of OMKAR with BIJA MANTRA
along with the corresponding name of God Sun. They are 12 different names of God According to their meanings, by chanting them, promotes the qualities to the practicenor like #friendship, #devotion, #energy, #health, #strength, #luster, and #vigor.
